ExoComplete™ Tube + Plate


Isolated EMVs can be lysed directly on the filter material by adding lysis buffer. Guanidine thiocyanate and other components of the buffer immediately and effectively inactivate ribonucleases to ensure isolation of intact mRNA. After transferring the EMV lysates to the mRNA capture plate, mRNA can be isolated through hybridization with single-strand oligo (dT) immobilized in the wells of the mRNA capture plate. For cDNA synthesis applications, antisense primers of target genes can be added to the lysis buffer. The antisense primers hybridize to the target mRNA and maximize the efficiency and specificity of the reverse transcription reaction.

Plasma EMVs in Post-Transplantation Bone Marrow Assessment

Plasma EMVs in Post-Transplantation Bone Marrow Assessment Using the ExoComplete 96-Well Plate Kit, researchers were able to identify potentially new biomarkers for the assessment of bone marrow condition. Exosome mRNA was purified from patients before and after undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. Hematopoeitic precursor cell-derived mRNAs in plasma exosomes and microvesicles were measured.1
